Gerald Knapp Colville, Wash.
Service for Gerald E. Knapp, 76, is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Colville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Colville. Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Knapp, who was born in Colville, died Thursday.
He graduated from Colville High School in 1938 and worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps and at the Boeing Aircraft Plant in Seattle for several years.
He married Dorotha Wisbey in 1942 in Jackson Prairie, Wash.
He received a teaching certificate from Walla Walla College and taught elementary school in Omak, Farmington, Wapato, Goldendale, Tonasket and Spangle, Wash., and Orofino, Idaho. He also served as principal at the schools.
In 1974 they moved to Colville, where he was the principal and teacher at the Seventh-day Adventist School for four years. He retired in 1978.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mary Ratcliff of Osborn, Idaho; two sons, Ray and Edward Knapp, both of Denver; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Lillian E. Mobley Post Falls
Service for Lillian E. Mobley, 88, will be today at 4 p.m. at Pines Cemetery Mausoleum in Spokane.
Mrs. Mobley, who was born in Leab, S.D., died Thursday.
She was raised in South Dakota, then moved to Burke, Idaho in 1936. She moved to Woodland Park, Idaho, in 1938, then on to Spokane. Mrs. Mobley had lived in Post Falls since 1979.
She was a waitress and belonged to Eagles Lodge No. 3682 in Post Falls.
She was preceded in death by her son, Herbert Mobley and her daughter, Florence, as well as two grandsons.
Mrs. Mobley is survived by her daughter, Thelma Quaring of Post Falls; and a sister, Violet Gray of Great Falls, Mont.
