Nebraska Senator Stumps For Minnick

One-time presidential candidate Bob Kerrey, now a U.S. senator, will be in Coeur d’Alene tonight and Friday to campaign for Walt Minnick.

Minnick, a Boise businessman, is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate seat occupied by Republican Larry Craig.

Coeur d’Alene is the final stop on a four-city tour with Kerrey and Minnick that begins in Pocatello and hits Boise and Lewiston.

They will hold an Apple Pie Social at the Atrium Building on Ironwood Drive from 7 to 9 tonight.

They will also meet with reporters on Friday at Templin’s Resort in Post Falls.

Kerrey, a Nebraska Democrat, is chairman of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee.
