Hospital Trustees Face Challengers

Two trustees face competition in their bid for re-election to the Kootenai Hospital District Board.

Dr. Duane A. Daugharty, the board’s chairman, and William M. Giesa will run in the Feb. 6 election. Sidney N. Smith and Lee C. Shellman also are seeking spots on the seven-member board, which governs Kootenai Medical Center.

Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Information about polling places is available by calling 666-3946.

Registered voters of Kootenai County may vote in the election. Those not registered must do so before Saturday.
