Saying it didn’t want to fly in bad weather, No. 18 Arizona canceled today’s game at St. Joseph’s in Philadelphia and rejected an offer to postpone the nationally televised game.

A former Oregon prep swimming star who died after a college meet had a congenital heart defect, the state medical examiner said. Greg Menton, 20, of Dundee, Ore., collapsed Wednesday after swimming in two events for the University of Massachusetts team in a meet at Dartmouth. He died about an hour later.

The wife of former Houston Rockets star and Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy died Friday from injuries she received in a car accident. Phyllis Davidson, 39, of Missouri City, Texas, had been injured about 6:10 p.m. Thursday in an accident in Houston.
