Uconn’s Home Streak Ends

Connecticut’s 44-game women’s basketball home winning streak - the longest in the nation - is over.

Saudia Roundtree matched her career high with 27 points and No. 7 Georgia held off two second-half rallies to upset third-ranked Connecticut 75-67.

Roundtree finished 11 for 21 from the field and the Bulldogs (13-2, 4-0 Southeast) hit 8 of 21 3-pointers to snap UConn’s (14-3, 4-1 Big East) win streak at Gampel Pavilion.

Stanford forward Kate Starbird was named the Pacific-10 women’s basketball player of the week.
