This mild, inexpensive remedy should work safely. Mix equal parts of baking soda and white (non-gel) toothpaste together, then dampen a clean white cotton cloth with water and dip it in the paste. Test in a hidden area to make sure it doesn’t remove any color or damage the surface. Then, apply to the spots in a gentle circular motion.
