Bernadette Rowse scored 22 points and freshman Nikki Petticrew collected 13 rebounds as eighth-ranked Lakeside crushed Freeman 70-48 in a Northeast A League girls basketball game at Nine Mile on Friday.

Lakeside led 44-20 at halftime and went to the bench early - Rowse played only 21 minutes. Jennifer Wilkerson led Freeman (2-5, 3-10) with 15 points and Becky Brown scored 13.
