U-Hi Wins On Wilson’s Basket

Adrienne Wilson’s jumper with 5 seconds remaining gave the University girls basketball team a 52-50 win over Shadle Park Friday night at U-Hi.
The Titans (4-5 Greater Spokane League, 6-6 overall) rallied from a 31-26 halftime deficit and were led by Wilson’s 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Emily Stuenkel had 14 points for U-Hi, while teammate Crystal Conant added eight assists. Joene Heimbigner had 16 points, 10 rebounds and four steals for the Highlanders (5-4, 8-5).

Theresa Palmer and Jennifer Williams each scored 16 points as the Bullpups (4-5, 8-5) defeated the Indians (0-9, 0-13) at North Central.
NC held Gonzaga Prep to 19 points in the game’s first 13 minutes, but the Bullpups went on a nine-point run to take a 28-12 lead into halftime.
