Dale Nelson, co-owner of J and D Stereo, reported Friday the return of two checks worth $577 written to the business at 1022 Fourth St.

Sam Hunter, employee of Church of the Nazarene, reported Friday the $300 theft of a video cassette recorder and cash and $300 damage to a door of the church at 4105 Honeysuckle Ave.

Nathan Baughman reported Friday the $493 theft of a compact disc case and 36 compact discs from his car while it was parked at his home on the 3200 block of 10th St.

Tanner Rowley reported Sunday the $460 theft of three tires from his pickup truck while it was parked at his home on the 100 block of Borah Ave.

Gabriel Van Ditto reported Friday $1,320 damage to the windows, sunroof and headlights of his car while it was parked at his home on the 3800 block of Nicklaus Ave.

Chad Whaley reported Saturday the $352 theft of a speaker box and two racquetball rackets from his car while it was parked at his home on the 200 block of Garden Ave.

Kootenai County sheriff

James Bloxam, Coeur d’Alene, reported Friday $350 damage to a door and the $1,100 theft of a television, video cassette recorder, microwave oven and miscellaneous household items from his cabin near Rose Lake.

Dixon Sumpter, Post Falls, reported Sunday the $500 theft of two microphones and $200 damage to a door of His Place Church, 3025 16th Ave.

Dennis Spurway, Post Falls, reported Friday the $300 theft of a handgun from his home on the 3500 block of Echo Road.

Sarah Warner, Rathdrum, reported Saturday the $320 theft of stereo equipment from her car while it was parked at a condominium on the 2700 block of Green Court.

Carrie Fox, Rathdrum, reported Sunday $620 damage to her pickup truck and the $1,223 theft of motor oil, tool box, carburetor and a chain saw while the truck was parked on Nelson Loop Road.
