Clemson Upsets Virginia

Stephanie Ridgeway’s 21 points led No. 18 Clemson to a 57-45 upset of No. 7 Virginia at Clemson, S.C., giving the Lady Tigers a sweep of their season series.

Ridgeway was one point short of her career high, but tied her career best with nine rebounds in a game.

Shaunda Roberts scored 19 points as Kentucky beat No. 22 Arkansas 69-65 at Lexington, Ky., for the Wildcats’ first Southeastern Conference victory.

At Columbia, S.C., Nikki Miars scored 25 points and Shannon Johnson had 24 as South Carolina upset No. 23 Mississippi 69-66.
