Four Take Boy’s Sled, Gloves

Four boys attacked and robbed a younger boy Saturday, taking his sled and gloves, according to a Coeur d’Alene police report.

The 10-year-old boy told police he left his home to meet a friend and go sledding on the Coeur d’Alene Golf Course.

He couldn’t find his friend so he instead headed back home at about 2 p.m., according to the report.

As he was walking home, four boys between the ages of 12 and 14 threw him to the ground, slapped him and kicked him in the ribs, according to police.

Capt. Carl Bergh said investigators will contact the suspects and their parents. They will forward the case to Kootenai County prosecutors for possible charges. , DataTimes
