Dear Heloise: Here is another reuse hint.

Sometimes you can’t always get to the store to buy adding machine tape.

On my home adding machine, I don’t need to tear off the tape each time I use it, so I roll it up. At first I used a paper clip to hold it and then switched to a rubber band.
