2 Men Sought In Break-In
Kootenai County authorities are searching for two men who broke into a Dalton Gardens home Wednesday.
One of the men was carrying a gun when a woman discovered them in the house, according to a Kootenai County sheriff’s report.
A 27-year-old Post Falls woman arrived at her parents’ home on north Fourth Street about 11:20 a.m. Her parents weren’t home at the time.
As soon as she walked in the front door, she was confronted by two men - one with a small handgun.
The men fled, and sheriff’s deputies, Idaho State Police and Coeur d’Alene police surrounded the house and searched the neighborhood.
It appears the men rifled through the house, looking for valuables, according to the sheriff’s report.
The two suspects are described as white men between the ages of 17 and 20.
One man is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs between 145 and 160 pounds. He has dark hair and a slender build and was wearing a dark T-shirt and blue jeans.
The other man is between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall and weighs between 145 and 160 pounds. He has long, straight blond hair, had a beard and was wearing a dark T-shirt, possibly with a rock ‘n’ roll logo on the front, and tattered blue jeans.
