Jack Sims Hayden Lake

Private family service for Jack T. Sims, 61, will be held at a later date. Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sims, who was born in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, died July 13.

He grew up in Glenns Ferry and later moved to California, where he worked for Proctor and Gamble, retiring after 16 years.

He moved to Hayden Lake in 1971 and worked as a logger for the family logging business.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda; three daughters, Patsy Andrew of Grand Coulee, Judy Beck of Coeur d’Alene and Kathy Overland of Athol; six brothers, Ben, Ron, Bill and Pat Sims, all of Coeur d’Alene, and Sam and Mike Sims, both of California; three sisters, Joy Luber and Marilyn Nelson, both of Coeur d’Alene, and Betty Henrie of Michigan; and seven grandchildren.
