The Shrine organization helps provide free specialized medical care to crippled and burned children through the operation of 22 Shriners hospitals and 19 orthopedic hospitals.

Turnipseed, owner of RCT Management Co., serves on the Shriners Hospitals Building and Equipment Committee that oversees $250 million in hospital construction and renovation costs and also served as past president of the “Calam Coppers” Unit and the Coeur d’Alene Shrine Club. He has been voted past Realtor of the Year and Builder of the Year in North Idaho.
