Dollar Generally Declines

The dollar dipped lower against most leading currencies Monday on low volume as U.S. stock and bond markets slipped while waiting for direction from economic data this week.

Investors are bracing for a week of potentially market-shifting news, starting with payroll costs and consumer confidence today and ending with employment figures on Friday.
