SPOKANE COUNTY COMMISSION

11 a.m., meeting with Human Resources Director Ben Duncan over personnel policies;

2 p.m., meeting with Animal Control Director Nancy Sattin over a proposed exotic animal ordinance;

1:30 p.m., Spokane Regional Solid Waste System Liaison Board, fifth floor conference room, City Hall;

3:30 p.m., City Council briefing to discuss meeting agenda and consent agenda items; council briefing center, lower level, City Hall;

6 p.m., City Council meeting, council chambers, lower level, City Hall. The council will hold a hearing on a proposal to annex 104 acres south of Interstate 90 and west of the city limits, known as the Grandview Annexation. Hearings on the proposal already have been conducted by the council, the city Plan Commission and the Boundary Review Board.

Thursday, 2 p.m., lower level briefing room, City Hall, workshop to discuss a variety of topics, including a proposal to call a public vote to adopt a strong mayor form of government. The council will hold an executive session to discuss possible temporary replacements for outgoing city manager Roger Crum.
