A 3-year-old girl died instantly when the wall of a garage under construction fell on her.

Bridget Sharp was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday. The accident occurred at the home of a Lacey police detective and an Elma police officer.

They were having a construction party to build a two-story garage-shop. The first floor was complete and four men were putting a beam across the top of the second floor when it hit an end supporting wall and toppled it.

The young girl lived next door and apparently had come to look for her father, who was helping with the project. The wall crushed the girl’s skull, authorities said. , DataTimes
