Forestry Workshop Offered By UI
Forest owners can improve the health of their stands and the growth rate of their trees with better forest fertility.
And the University of Idaho is offering a workshop June 15 to educate forest owners, foresters and others on how to improve forest fertility. Participants must register by Tuesday by contacting the UI’s Kootenai County Extension Office at 667-6426.
The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes an afternoon field trip. The session can accommodate 60 people. The cost is $5. , DataTimes
