Man Who Walked Away From Group Home Found Dead

A man who walked away from a home for the developmentally disabled in Quincy, Wash., was found dead Thursday, apparently drowned.

U.S. Bureau of Reclamation workers spotted the body of Sheldon L. Ibatuan, 50, in a canal south of Quincy about 3:30 p.m., Grant County sheriff’s deputies reported.

Ibatuan had been missing from the Quincy Inn since Monday, deputies said.

Preliminary reports indicate Ibatuan drowned. There was no evidence of foul play, deputies said. , DataTimes
