Suspect Arrested In Church Arson

Police arrested a 35-year-old white man Friday night in connection with the latest in a string of fires that has damaged or destroyed black churches.

Christopher Harper, of Enid, was being held on an arson complaint.

Police wouldn’t say what led to the arrest or what might have been a motive in burning of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Enid.
