Academic Awards Given To Cda High Seniors

The following Coeur d’Alene High School seniors were recently honored with academic, recognition and scholastic awards. Recipients and their awards are as follows:

Danielle Remington, Gold Cord; Leah Robinson, Gold Cord; Christy Sater, President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Gold Cord; Heather Sazama, President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Gold Cord, Marine Corps Top Scholar Award for Music, Departmental Scholastic Award (orchestra), Hewlett-Packard Company Employee Scholarship; and David Scammel, valedictorian, President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Gold Cord, National Merit Commended Student, Departmental Scholastic Award (physical science), Air Force Top Scholar for Science, Marine Corps Top Scholar Award for Academics, Rotary Club of Hayden Lake Academic Scholarship, Rotary Club of Hayden Lake Scholar of the Month (November).

Shelly Schnell, North Idaho College Anonymous Scholarship; Augusta Sheck, President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Gold Cord, Society of Women Engineers Certificate of Merit, Greater Coeur d’Alene Bowling Association Scholarship, University of Idaho Presidential Scholarship, Seattle Pacific University Scholarship, Grand Canyon University Scholarship, Panhandle Kiwanis Club Scholar of the Month; and Ginger Smith, President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Gold Cord, Departmental Scholastic Award (vocal), Idaho Forest Industries Scholarship, UI Presidential Scholarship, George Fox College Honors Entrance Scholarship, Eastern Washington University Scholarship, Rotary Club of Hayden Lake Scholar of the Month (March), Idaho State University Leadership and Talent Scholar.
