(From For the Record, Saturday, June 22, 1996): The 1994 sentencing of Nancy Atkisson for a misdemeanor driving under the influence charge was a withheld judgement and since has been amended in compliance with probation terms. A criminal sentencing report published Thursday incorrectly stated the disposition of that case.
Police Blotter Coeur d’Alene police
James Volk reported Tuesday the $300 theft of a CD player and $250 damage to the window of his car while it was parked in the lot at Pete’s Automotive, 1704 Government Way.
Paul Johnson reported Tuesday the $872 theft of stereo equipment and $100 damage to the window of his pickup truck while it was parked at his home on the 1400 block of Fifth St.
Kootenai County sheriff
Edwin Knapp, Post Falls, reported June 13 that someone was trespassing on his property on the 1400 block of Signal Point Road.
Stanley Votava, owner of Votava Logging, reported June 12 that he was assaulted by a firearm on private property he was logging on the 1400 block of Signal Point Road.
Morrie Dightman, Post Falls, reported June 12 that someone was trespassing and logging timber on his property on the 1400 block of Signal Point Road.
