Police Seek Tips On Robbery Asking For Help Identifying Man Who Held Up Cda Convenience Store
Police are asking for help identifying and locating the man who robbed the Petro Stop-N-Shop early last Saturday.
The 18-to 20-year-old male was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with a distinctive, round design on the back, said Coeur d’Alene Police Lt. Don Jiran. The design has some sort of name written through it as part of the design.
“Somebody probably knows what (the logo) is,” Jiran said. The sweatshirt also has a rip in the upper right shoulder.
The man was wearing blue, knee-length shorts, blue or black tennis shoes, and had a red bandanna stretched over his face. He is approximately 5-foot-10 and slim.
The robber went into the East Sherman Avenue store with a single-shot sawed-off shotgun shortly after midnight Friday and took an undisclosed sum of money. Police fear that if he is not captured he will rob another store.
It is about the ninth convenience store robbery in Coeur d’Alene so far this year.
