Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: It has become almost automatic to grab the remote control and hit Mute or change channels when a commercial comes on. Those loud drums and bass sounds are so irritating and an announcer is trying to yell above all that noise.

The channels are timed, so most of them have commercials at the same time.

I know someone has to pay the fiddler, but it surely won’t be me as long as they insult my intelligence and infuriate me like that.

When they are much louder than the regular program, I just hit the Mute button. - Irritated in New Mexico You said it loud and clear. Maybe someone will hear. - Heloise
