Mavs Feud Continues

In yesterday’s aftermath of Jason Kidd’s ultimatum hurricane: The Mavericks’ star guard reiterated his trade-meor-Jim Jackson stance, management lashed back by promising to ignore it and teammate Jamal Mashburn defended Kidd.

The Mavericks don’t intend to bow to pressure from Kidd, saying the ultimatum would effectively be ignored and dismissed.

“No player and no agent is bigger than the Dallas Mavericks,” said Frank Zaccanelli, part of ownership and the interim general manager.

And this from Mashburn: “When the new owners asked for my input, I told them some of the same things, that there’s a lot of selfishness on the part of Jim.”
