Cda Tourism Panel Named Visitors Plus

The Coeur d’Alene Area Chamber of Commerce’s Tourism Development Committee has adopted a formal name: Visitors Plus.

Kootenai County economic recruiting firm Jobs Plus Inc. provided the inspiration for the committee. The new mission for Visitors Plus will be “To bring visitors to the Coeur d’Alene area.”

The chamber committee will work with Coeur d’Alene tourism operators to coordinate tourism promotion and marketing, said Stacy Becker, chamber tourism director.

Visitors Plus continues to plan for The Great American Race, a cross-country classic auto rally that will begin in Coeur d’Alene in June. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate the race and are asked to call the chamber at 664-3194.
