Dear Heloise: I use the many key rings that are given to me (with colorful advertising tags) on the zipper pulls in/on my purses. They are easy to find and grasp. Better to be lazy and ingenious than too busy working to have fun and enjoy life! - D.A.S., Pittsburgh, Pa.

Metal key “rings” without the advertisement fobs also are helpful when threaded in the zipper pull of a coat or zippered overall. Put your finger in the ring and pull instead of trying to grasp a small, thin zipper pull. - Heloise

Dear Heloise: I have a suggestion for families whose little ones have outgrown the need for baby receiving blankets. Sew four similar-sized blankets together and you have created a special blanket for your child to continue to use - perfect for cool evenings or a nap.
