Montana Rodeo Cowboy Dies

Lari Lee Sluggett, a Montana rodeo rider who was injured when a bull stepped on his stomach, died Sunday. He was 24.

Sluggett fell off the back of the bull near the chutes Saturday night at the Camrose Spring Classic Rodeo in Camrose, Alberta. Sluggett was able to stand up and run into the chutes.

He was flown by air ambulance 25 miles to Edmonton, where he died in surgery early Sunday.

He is survived by his wife, Katy, who is pregnant; a brother, two sisters and his parents.
