Lehigh basketball coach Dave Duke has resigned. Duke leaves with a 90-134 record in eight seasons with the Engineers, including a 4-23 record this season.

West Virginia and Marshall will renew their instate football rivalry in 1997 after a 74-year hiatus. It will be Marshall’s first game as a Division I-A team. The university is leaving the I-AA Southern Conference after the 1996 season to join the MidAmerican Conference. The teams last met in 1923. WV leads the series 4-0.
