Three Arrested In Bank Robbery

Compiled From Wire Services

A man, his mother and a teenager were arrested Friday near Wallace on suspicion of robbing an Osburn bank earlier in the day.

The First Security Bank branch in Osburn was robbed about 10:15 a.m., according to the Osburn Police Department. Police wouldn’t say how much money was taken.

A bank clerk told police the man fled with money. Witnesses saw him leave in an older model beige four-door car.

Police checked the area and spotted a car matching that description at a motel just west of Wallace.

A 30-year-old transient, Troy Pace, and his mother, Mary Pace, 54, were arrested, along with a 17-year-old boy, police said.

They’re being held at the Shoshone County jail while awaiting a court appearance.

Authorities searched the motel room as well as a 1981 Chevrolet Malibu and found some money in the car.
