Northern Beverage Recognized For 1995 Sales
Post Falls Coors distributor Northern Beverage was recently recognized by Coors Brewing Co., for outstanding sales performance in 1995.
Northern Beverage employees produced the top sales percentage increase in Idaho. The award was presented to Northern Beverage President, Dale Scarlett at a national sales conference in Atlanta earlier this month.
Dave Olson and Shannon Syth were recently named the Bonner County Employees of the Month for February and March, respectively.
Olson, a staff accountant in the clerk’s office, has worked for the county since April 1994. He was nominated for his sense of humor and patience in working with department heads, elected officials and other employees, mainly during budget hearing times.
Syth, an appraiser clerk in the assessor’s office, has worked for the county since January 1990. She was nominated for her positive, cheerful attitude and her willingness to share computer knowledge and resource reports.
Steve Wilson, Coeur d’Alene, recently received a Student of the Month Award from the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University.
Wilson, a senior finance major, was nominated by faculty members and selected by a nine-member committee based on service, classroom participation and academic achievement.
Jennifer Marie Reid, Sandpoint, recently graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree.
She is the daughter of John and Betty Wood of Sandpoint.
John Finney, Sandpoint, was recently named to the University of Idaho College of Law Dean’s List for the 1995 fall semester.
Several local Whitworth College students were recently named to the Laureate Society for fall semester 1995: Jennifer Earin and Brian Hackwith, Coeur d’Alene; Kim Jewell, Post Falls; Melissa Moody, Sandpoint; and Katie Borgmann, St. Maries.
Qualifying students must maintain at least a 3.75 grade-point average for the semester.
Ramsey Elementary third-graders Rita Hirst, Alyssa Neff and Bryan Klein were recently chosen as winners in a statewide breakfast theme drawing contest sponsored by the Idaho Dairy Council.
The students received certificates, T-shirts and a school-wide chocolate milk party.
