Fountain Helps Ccs Garner Split

Julie Fountain (8-4) pitched a four-hitter and drove in three runs as the Community Colleges of Spokane Sasquatch beat the visiting Walla Walla Warriors in the nightcap, 10-2, to split an NWAACC colllege softball doubleheader at Spokane Falls CC.

Heather Hedum and Dani Fine had run-scoring singles during CCS’ six-run second inning.

In the opener, a throwing error gave Walla Walla both of its runs in a 2-1 victory.
