Author To Write Law School Series
NBC has given best-selling author Scott Turow a six-episode commitment for a primetime series next season based on Turow’s first book, “One L,” about his experiences during his first year at Harvard Law School.
Turow, a practicing attorney and partner at the Chicago law office of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, has penned two books that hit No. 1 on various best-seller lists and were subsequently adapted for the screen: “Presumed Innocent” and “Burden of Proof.”
His third novel, “Pleading Guilty,” was published in 1993 and again hit the top of the best-seller lists.
