Access Improved For Disabled Anglers
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has developed special facilities for disabled anglers at several Eastern Washington sites, said spokesman Madonna Luers.
The special facilities are at the following places:
Spokane County - Badger, Liberty, Newman and West Medical.
Stevens County - Loon and Waitts.
Pend Oreille County - Diamond.
Columbia County - Tucannon impoundments and Curl Lake.
Grant County - Evergreen and Potholes reservoirs, Rocky Ford and Hatchery creeks and Moses Lake.
Okanogan County - Blue, Fish, Forde, Green and Whitestone lakes and the Methow River.
The Forest Service also has a few facilities created especially for handicapped people.
