Bucke Charged

Two Ohio State basketball players have been charged in the break-ins of two cars in a campus parking garage, a court employee said.

Jami Bosley and Scott Gradney were scheduled to appear in court May 30, said a Franklin County Municipal Court employee who would not identify herself.

Bosley was charged with attempted theft for allegedly taking a stereo from a Toyota Paseo and Gradney was charged with theft for allegedly taking an anti-theft device from a Pontiac Sunbird.

Fred Taylor, who won 297 games in 18 years as Ohio State’s basketball coach, was in fair condition at a Columbus, Ohio, hospital, recovering from surgery for a brain aneurysm.

Toronto resident Jamaal Magloire, a 6-foot-11 center who became the most heavily recruited high school player in Canada, is going to Kentucky.

Vitaly Potapenko, who led Wright State in scoring and rebounding the past two seasons, has signed with an agent and is headed to the NBA draft.

Potapenko is a 6-11, 280-pound center.
