Dear Heloise: I used to have the same problem as one of your readers. I, too, could not always tell which bottle in the shower was the shampoo and which was the conditioner without drying my face and taking a close look.

I solved this problem by applying some first-aid waterproof tape around the top of my conditioner bottle. Now I simply feel for the bottle that has the rough ring of tape on it and I know it’s my conditioner. It works great! - Sylvia Seger, Santa Claus, Ind.
