Walkers Invited To 10-Kilometer Loop

The Nettleton Gulch and Best Hills Meadows neighborhood streets will be filled with dozens, perhaps hundreds, of walkers during a 10-kilometer Volksmarch this weekend.

The “Nettleton Gulch Loop” is the spring event of the Coeur d’Alene Volkssport Club.

The walk will start between 8 a.m. and noon Saturday and Sunday in Sunset Field. The marked route winds through Best Hills Meadows and Pine Hills subdivisions and part way up Nettleton Gulch. Walkers should plan to finish by 3 p.m.

For $7, registered walkers will receive a medal of a mountain scene with a llama in the foreground. , DataTimes
