Museum-Quality Candy
When Cheney Cowles Museum does something, you’d expect it to be in good taste. But when it tastes good, too, that’s a real treat. The Spokane museum has come out with a “chocolate poppy,” a 1/3-pound candy square patterned after the restored poppy wallpaper in the historic Campbell House mansion next door. Made by Spokandy from a mold sculpted by local artist Joe Guarisco, it comes in mint, dark, light and white chocolate.
Think of it as an edible exhibit that you won’t be able to keep on display for long.
