Selig Will Unveil Plan

From Wire Reports

Acting baseball commissioner Bud Selig is likely to receive a hostile reception today when he asks players for additional concessions.

Players, seething since owners rejected the deal agreed to Oct. 24 by management negotiator Randy Levine and union head Donald Fehr, planned to give Selig an angry rebuff at the bargaining session.

Negotiations over the future of the Seattle Seahawks have stalled, affecting the Mariners, who want to extend their Kingdome lease.

The first priority has been a deal with Paul Allen, whose option to buy the Seahawks expires in July, said Kevin Raymond, chief of staff for King County Executive Gary Locke.
