Trump May Remove Name From Casino

From Staff And Wire Reports

Donald J. Trump, who loves to see his name in lights, may soon pull the plug on some of them.

The casino mogul confirmed Thursday that he was in talks aimed at converting Trump’s Castle Casino Resort into a Hard Rock casino.

Under the proposed deal, the “Trump” name would come off Trump’s Castle Casino Resort but Trump would still own and operate the building. The property, which would be redesigned and called Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, would have restaurants, stores and live music managed by Hard Rock.

“Whatever anyone might say about Donald Trump liking to see his name up there, it is superseded by his smart business sense. He is a businessman first,” said James Berk, chief executive of Hard Rock Cafe International.
