Mr. And Mrs. Hankel Cheney

William Fred and Caroline Ellen Hankel, Cheney, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a reception from 6 to 10 p.m. at Cavanaugh’s River Inn, Shoreline Room.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: William and Sherry Hankel, Snohomish, Wash.; David and Sharon Johnson, Spokane; Charles and Laurie Hankel, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Donald and Debby Myers, and Mitchell and Linda Hankel, all of Cheney; and John and Karen Hankel, Newman Lake.

The Hankels were married Nov. 2, 1946, in Chicago. They have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
