Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I have a new way to recycle old pantyhose and stockings.

Save them and cut in small pieces and use to stuff pillows and cushions.

I like it better than foam stuffing and it can be washed in the washing machine and dried in the clothes dryer. - Fay McCracken, Beaumont, Texas

Dear Heloise: Whenever you have a real yucky job like staining furniture or gluing a lot of stuff, put on several pairs of latex gloves. As each successive glove deteriorates or gets too sticky, simply remove it and keep working. It saves time and aggravation. - Polly Horlander, Houston
