Firefighters Can’t Save Restaurant From Blaze

From Staff And Wire Reports

Fire raced through a north Spokane County restaurant late Saturday, destroying the business.

Billy Boy’s, 23330 N. Highway 395, was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived about 9 p.m. About 25 firefighters worked to keep the fire from an adjacent mobile home park. It was not clear if the restaurant was open when the fire broke out.

“There’s probably not going to be much left,” said a fire dispatcher.

No other buildings were threatened.

Firefighters had not determined the cause late Saturday.
