‘Hee Haw’ Returning

Country comedy classic “Hee Haw” is coming back, in rerun form, on cable’s TNN.

The repeats will air Saturday nights starting on Nov. 16.

Why, after a year off the air, is TNN bringing it back?

“The short answer is, because people want it back,” said Brian Hughes, vice president of programing.

“We feel like this show is part of the institution of television,” Hughes said. “We have a lot of loyalists out there.”
