Street Work Almost Completed

The city street construction and reconstruction program is almost done, meaning traffic delays also will ease.

Sewer construction is essentially complete in the Pinegrove area and on Dalton Avenue. Curb and gutter work and final paving continues on Kathleen Avenue between Ramsey Road and U.S. Highway 95.

The Kathleen Avenue project will be completed next week, weather permitting. In other parts of town, there may be center-line painting and cross-walk painting.

There are no street closures or traffic delays anticipated because of the projects.
