Olson Has Surgery

Benji Olson, Washington’s All-America offensive guard, underwent surgery on his lower back and will miss the rest of spring football practice.

The surgery, called a microdiscectomy, was done to relieve back pain caused by a bulging disc that was pressing against a nerve root.
