Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: I was given a Mylar balloon for my birthday. It was a pretty balloon, so after a couple of weeks I cut a hole in the bottom, deflated it entirely and put it in a drawer.

Just today, I bought a gift for a friend’s birthday and I thought I had wrapping. What to do! What to do! My deflated Mylar balloon had “Happy Birthday” written on it. Perfect, just perfect! I placed the gift inside the Mylar balloon and wrapped my package. -Carolyn M. Kuhl, Andover, N.J. xxxx
