River Traffic Barred By Bridge Demolition

Boating and floating will be prohibited from Aug. 4 through Aug. 11 on the Coeur d’Alene River under the Idaho Highway 3 bridge two miles south of Rose Lake, the Idaho Department of Transportation announced.

Crews are removing the old bridge over the river. A barge will be working in the middle of the river and several guy wires will be strung across the river during the bridge demolition. , DataTimes
