‘Conspiracy Theory’ Likeable Fantasy

Halfway through “Conspiracy Theory” I was still having trouble seeing Mel Gibson as the conspirary-minded cab driver who falls hard for Julia Roberts, a lawyer with the Justice Deptartment. (Tim Roth, I thought, would have been a far better choice.) When it finally clicked, though, this mild romantic adventure became an enjoyable little fantasy.
